May at Rivard-Royall

Memphis shoppers know a sharp lease deal when they see one. This month we put together four offers that make leasing a new GMC genuinely worth a second look: a family-ready Acadia, a workhorse Sierra 1500, a midsize Canyon that hits well above its weight, and a Terrain that lands at one of the most aggressive payments we have seen all year.

Every offer below is a 36-month, 10,000-mile-per-year lease. Payments do not include taxes, title, registration, or dealer fees. Some payments also reflect GM lease loyalty or conquest savings, which we walk through in the FAQ further down the page.

Why Lease

The Case for Leasing.

Lower Monthly Payment

Lease payments cover the depreciation during your term rather than the full purchase price, which typically means a meaningfully lower monthly number than financing the same vehicle.

A New GMC Every Few Years

Most leases run 24 to 36 months. When yours ends, you can hand the keys back, lease something new, or buy out the residual. No guessing what your trade is worth three years from now.

Covered Under Warranty

A standard 36-month lease finishes inside the GMC 3-year/36,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty window. Most major repairs are covered for the life of the lease.

Common Questions

Lease FAQ.

What is the difference between leasing and financing a GMC?

When you finance a GMC, you take out a loan, make monthly payments toward the full purchase price plus interest, and own the vehicle outright once the loan is paid off. There are no mileage limits and you can modify or sell the vehicle whenever you choose.

When you lease, you pay for the vehicle's depreciation during the lease term (typically 24 to 36 months) rather than its full value. Monthly payments are usually lower, but the vehicle is returned at the end of the lease unless you elect to buy it out. Leases also include annual mileage limits and standards for wear and tear.

What is included in the advertised monthly payment?

The advertised monthly payment covers the base lease payment only. It does not include Tennessee sales tax, title, tag, registration, or dealer documentation fees. Optional add-ons such as extended warranties, gap coverage, or accessories are also separate.

Your sales consultant can walk you through a complete out-the-door figure before any paperwork is signed.

What happens at the end of a GMC lease?

At the end of your lease term you have three options. You can return the vehicle and walk away (subject to any excess mileage or wear-and-tear charges). You can purchase the vehicle for the residual value listed in your lease contract. Or you can lease a new GMC and start a fresh term.

We recommend starting that conversation 60 to 90 days before your lease maturity date so there is time to compare options.

What is the mileage allowance, and what happens if I exceed it?

The lease specials on this page are based on 10,000 miles per year, which is 30,000 total miles across a 36-month term. If you exceed your contracted mileage at lease end, an excess mileage charge applies on a per-mile basis as outlined in your lease agreement.

If you know in advance that you drive more than 10,000 miles per year, ask about a higher-mileage lease at signing. Prepaying for additional miles up front is almost always cheaper than paying excess-mileage charges at turn-in.

What is GM lease loyalty and lease conquest?

Lease loyalty is a GM incentive available to customers who currently lease an eligible GM vehicle. Lease conquest is a similar incentive available to customers who currently lease a qualifying non-GM vehicle. Both can reduce the monthly payment on a new GMC lease.

Eligibility, qualifying model years, and discount amounts change from month to month and vary by model. We are happy to confirm whether your current lease qualifies before you visit.

Do I need to live in Tennessee to lease from Rivard-Royall GMC?

No. We regularly work with customers across the Mid-South, including Mississippi, Arkansas, and Kentucky. Out-of-state titling, tax, and registration are handled through our finance office. Reach out before your visit so we can prepare the right paperwork for your home state.
