Every GMC lineup needs a door that opens at a reasonable number, and for 2027 that door is the Terrain Elevation at $30,700 starting MSRP in GMC's October 2026 figures. It is the smallest GMC and the least expensive, with the square-shouldered look the brand is known for.
Under the hood is a turbocharged 1.5L four good for 175 hp, paired with an eight-speed automatic. GMC lists 29.8 cubic feet of cargo room with the rear seat up and 63.5 cubic feet with the seat folded, plus a 1,500-lb tow rating once the optional Trailering Package is fitted.
Three trims make up the line. The AT4 carries the tougher look its badge wears on the bigger GMCs, and the Denali at $42,200 starting MSRP gives the compact SUV the premium treatment.
